Nutritivna alergija je nepovoljan imunološki odgovor na proteine hrane. Ne IgE posredovana gastrointestinalna nutritivna alergija predstavlja spektar poremećaja koji su daleko manje poznati od IgE posredovane nutritivne alergije. Dijagnoza je uglavnom klinička jer ne postoje specifični biomarkeri. Ne IgE posredovana nutritivna alergija obuhvata: proteinima hrane indukovan enterokolitisni sindrom (FPIES), proteinima hrane indukovan proktokolitis (FPIAP), proteinima hrane indukovana enteropatija (FPE), proteinima hrane indukovani poremećaji motiliteta gastrotrakta (GERB) I mešoviti oblici bolesti, npr. ezofagusni ezofagitis (EoE). U većini slučajeva ne IgE posredovana nutritvna alergija ima dobro prognozu I prolazi tokom detinjstva.
